Iraqi police escorted Ahmed Abed Oweiyed after arresting him in Baghdad’s Ghazaliyah neighborhood Wednesday. The police have accused Mr. Oweiyed, a top al Qaeda operative, with the death of senior Sunni Muslim parliamentarian and human rights advocate Harith al-Obaidi, who was shot dead in a Baghdad mosque last week.
